Greetings from the Principal
This school is committed to excellence in many ways including academics, sports, and providing students with opportunities to travel to Europe and other parts of Canada. These memories will last a lifetime. Our work experience, RAP, and Green Certificate programs share equal importance to the rest of the courses offered here. The staff at VCHS works hard at providing learning opportunities that easily compare to or surpass schools in other parts of our province. Education in Alberta is in a period of change, with new innitiatives that are to be come part of our fabric or our school that will benefit students. Everyone at VCHS is constantly learning, that this is what makes education exciting.
I am proud of our staff consisting of a core of experienced teachers and classified staff members combined with some new faces, making our school a dynamic environment that is fun to be a part of.
Our students are a great source of energy which is evident in the role that Cougar Council plays in planning student activities and doing volunteer work in our community. Thanks to all for making our school a great place for kids.
